The Corridor Gallery opens...

The opening of The Corridor Gallery, curated by Verity Adriana,  celebrates the success of the BA Photography programme’s no.1 Guardian ranking for the second year running.  The gallery is exhibiting Ephemeral by Katie Bywater, a body of work made during her Erasmus year in Lapland and the fashion work of Johan Koop alongside prints by Shahidul Alam, as seen below, as CUPH participates in a mass exhibition calling for his release.

A Struggle For Democracy

Shahidul Alam’s A Struggle for Democracy, currently showing at CUPH. Shahidul has been arrested and charged by Bangladeshi Police after giving an interview to Al Jazeera on the current wave of student protests in Bangladesh against unsafe roads. There are concerns for his welfare and allegations of him being tortured. Add your voice to the campaign at www.amnesty.org.uk
